Appearance
Prevost's squirrel is a medium-sized squirrel with a slender body and a bushy tail. Its soft, dense fur is predominantly black with cream or white spots, exhibiting unmistakable contrast. The tail, often held erect, is notably long, vibrant, and exhibits the same spotted pattern. There is a significant difference in color between the underparts and the upperparts.
