The linne's dwarf snake is a species of small, non-venomous snake that's endemic to Java and the small island of Pulau Bangka, Indonesia. It was named after the famous Swedish biologist Carl Linnaeus, who invented the binomial nomenclature. Little is known of this species, but it is known that it inhabits hills up to the elevation of 1500 m.
