Description
The pumpkin toadlet or Spixâs saddleback toad (Brachycephalus ephippium) is a species of frog in the Brachycephalidae family. It is endemic to montane regions of southeastern Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais states). Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
