 The green bright-eyed frog, Boophis viridis, is a species of frog in the family Mantellidae. It is endemic to Madagascar.

 Green bright-eyed frog is a medium-sized frog with a slender body and smooth skin. It possesses striking bright green coloration, often adorned with little dark speckles. These amphibians exhibit a conspicuous eye color variation, changing from red to yellow. This species lacks distinctive features such as horns or wings. There are no significant differences in appearance due to age, gender, or subspecies. 
   Behavior
 Green bright-eyed frog is primarily nocturnal, conducting most of its activities during the night, such as foraging for food and mating. It exhibits remarkable vocal abilities in a peculiar calling behavior during mating, marked by a chorus of high-pitched sounds. Mostly solitary, territorial disputes are resolved vocally rather than physically.
