Mountain new caledonian gecko is renown for its crepuscular lifestyle, maintaining peak activity during twilight hours. This arboreal species' distinct approach to survival includes its exceptional grasp on vertical surfaces and tree trunks, allowing it to easily navigate treetops. Living predominantly in humid forests of New Caledonia, its presence contributes to the ecological balance through insect regulation.
