The many-scaled anole or Golfo-Dulce anole (Anolis polylepis), is a lizard endemic to the Gulf of Dulce area of Costa Rica.

Appearance

Males showcase an expanded dewlap during mating displays, with vivid hues that differentiate it from the females. The tail, making up half of the animal's length, tapers sharply to a point.
