Osa peninsula anole predominantly feeds on small arthropods, especially insects. It displays a preference for soft-bodied prey such as spiders and caterpillars. This species also often consumes nectar from flowers, supplementing its insectivorous diet.

Appearance

The Anolis osa is a small, slender lizard with a scaly skin. Its primary coloration ranges from green to brown, often featuring a pattern of dark spots or irregular stripes. Some males can change hue, contrasting a bright dewlap under their chin. A long tail and sharp claws are notable features of these agile climbers. Unlike many species, there's minimal size difference between males and females.
