The Spanish algyroides (Algyroides marchi ), also commonly known as the Spanish keeled lizard or Valverde's lizard, is a species of lizard in the family Lacertidae.

Appearance

It display aggressive territorial behavior, particularly around breeding sites. When confronted, it raises anterior part of the body, puffs up its body laterally, and brandishes its open mouth.
