Originally hailing from Turkmenistan, akhal-Teke is an ancient and exceptionally rare breed known for its endurance and speed. With a distinct metallic sheen to their coat, these horses create a captivating sight, earning them the name 'Golden Horses'. In the realm of equestrian sport, akhal-Teke excel in endurance riding and were historically used for long-distance treks across harsh desert terrains.

Distinguished by their sparse, silky manes and tails, these are often similar or congruent to the coat color. A distinguishing attribute is akhal-Teke's almond-shaped eyes, generally black or brown. As they age, muscular definition may decrease, yet their gloss remains unaltered, a timeless testament to their unique optical phenomenon.
