Description
Aipysurus laevis is a species of venomous sea snake found in the Indo-Pacific. Its common names include golden sea snake, olive sea snake, and olive-brown sea snake.

Diet
Olive sea snake primarily sustains on a carnivorous diet centered around fish eggs, and occasionally small fishes. This nocturnal feeder uses venom to subdue its prey before ingestion.
Appearance
Olive sea snake is a long and slender marine snake reaching up to 2 meters in length. Its scaleless skin is typically golden to olive-brown, often with darker bands or blotches. The head is small, set off distinctly from the body, and the tail is flattened for swimming. Males and females look similar, but males are marginally smaller. Unlike many snakes, there are no differences in appearance between juveniles and adults.
