Description
The green vine snake (Ahaetulla nasuta) is a slender green tree snake found in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Long-nosed whip snake is a slender and long-bodied snake, typically reaching lengths of around 60-75 cm. This reptile is characterized by its green skin, varying in shade from lime green to a darker moss hue. It possesses a distinctive elongated snout which it uses for hunting. Long-nosed whip snake has large eyes with horizontal pupils. There is no substantial difference in appearance between genders, ages or subspecies.
Behavior
Long-nosed whip snake is a diurnal, arboreal serpent known for its still-hunting technique. It blends effectively into its green environment and waits patiently for prey to approach. Utilizing swift strikes, it captures prey. Solitary by nature, long-nosed whip snake's unique defense mechanism involves intimidation through eye-like marks on its neck and head. Males display aggressive behavior during mating season for territory defense and female selection.
